Congratulations to the iSchool High’s Innovations Team who won fourth place in the 2011 Texas Computer Education Association’s State Robotics Contest on Saturday, April 9.
Ryan Mitchell, Matt Powell and Justin Vandiver were part of the winning team who participated in the advance inventions competition.
“It is definitely outstanding considering that this is our first year in the competition and we competed against numerous large public high school STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics] programs,” said Jerry Price, team sponsor and Engineering teacher at iSchool High, “We are very proud of the team.”
Last December, the Innovations Team competed for the first time in the regional robotics DFW North Texas – Dual Regional Contest and earned first place.
