TCSA Postcard Program
Earlier this year, ResponsiveEd helped raise awareness of the Texas Charter Schools Association’s 2011 legislative agenda by sending a message to Texas State Senators and Representatives.ResponsiveEd received more than 26,000 postcards from parents and friends who wanted their voices heard in support of public charter schools.
The TCSA Postcard Program is one part of a larger grassroots effort. TCSA launched its advocacy program to create a legislative environment favorable to charter schools. The goal is to build and sustain greater public awareness of Texas charter schools through the strategic recruitment and mobilization of parents and community supporters in order to achieve legislative reforms.
