Vista Academy of Amarillo named 2010-2011 Distinguished School
Vista Academy of Amarillo was recently named a Title 1, Part A Distinguished School for 2010-2011 by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
The TEA provides this recognition to schools that have consistently demons-trated strong academic performance over a three-year period.
Vista Academy of Amarillo had to achieve a Recognized status for the two previous years to achieve this recognition.
Last year, more than 80 percent of ResponsiveEd schools earned the top academic ratings granted by the TEA. The ratings demonstrated ResponsiveEd as one of the most successful charter school districts in the state of Texas.
